THE CRESTLINE ROUNDHOUSE PRESERVATION SOCIETY
Mission Statement
• Record, promote, and disseminate the history of the Pennsylvania Railroad in Crestline, Ohio.
• Record, promote, and disseminate specifically the history and significance of the Crestline Engine House Facility as it relates to this community, and the Pennsylvania Railroad employees and their families.
• Record, promote, and disseminate, in general, the history and significance of all railroads in the development and growth of the United States of America.
• Through this promotion, raise awareness of the need to preserve the artifacts and history of our railroad heritage.
• Through this promotion, raise awareness of the need to preserve Crestline’s heritage: an Ohio Railroad Center since 1850.
• Because of the need for a structure to preserve and display these artifacts, and share this history of our railroad heritage restore the Crestline Engine House Facility, the last PRR “Roundhouse” of its type still standing.
